The Bridges Foundation — The mission of the Bridges Foundation is to enhance the quality of life for individuals with developmental disabilities, their families, and the Tulsa community through training, education, employment services and advocacy. This project focused on developing new strategies for community engagement and organizational storytelling.

Go Bay’Nanas — Go Bay'nanas hosts hands-on cooking and literacy classes centered around banana-inspired desserts. With expansion, Bayonia plans to develop more age specific kid cookbooks and hopefully co-own a collaborative community space for makers, creators, and families. This project focused on the expansion of Go Bay’Nanas, including education subscription boxes and in-home class support.

Launch Ahead — Launch Ahead is more than just an app - it's a lifeline dedicated to supporting foster youth on their journey towards independence. Personalized roadmaps are crafted specifically with the unique challenges and aspirations of transitioning foster youth in mind. Focused on their advanced AI platform, promoting focused, goal-oriented engagement, and incentivizing every step forward. Launch Ahead is committed to transforming the narrative for foster youth, turning challenges into stepping stones for success.

Techlahoma Foundation — Techlahoma Foundation is a professional network of more than 5,000 information technology workers, hobbyists, students, teachers, and future technologists. Their mission is to "Enrich Oklahoma’s technologists of all backgrounds through education, connection and opportunity. This project focused on the expansion of the OK Coders program, focusing on internship opportunities to meet the needs of employers and program participants.

Center for Employment Opportunities (CEO) — CEO offers individuals just coming home from prison the ongoing support necessary to build career capital and financial stability. The Tulsa team was tasked with creating a program that identifies the needs of CEO alumni to prevent recidivism, improve career longevity, or increase generational wealth of their alumni.

ASH Audiology – ASH Audiology hopes to better service Oklahomans with the flexibility of a mobile clinic.The OKC team focused on creating a sustainable model that will increase the access and awareness of hearing care for Oklahomans 60 years and older to eliminate further risk of other heath problems.

Black Tech Street -To build a thriving capitol of Black tech in Tulsa on the grounds of Black Wall Street. The strategy includes attracting Black-founded startups, workers, and VC firms to Tulsa, tech-enabling local Black businesses, creating tech entrepreneurship and education partnerships, and influencing minority in tech policies to reinvigorate the Greenwood area and contribute to significant long-term economic development.

Purse Power Accelerator – Purse Power, a company with a directory of 75,000 women-owned businesses, to pilot and create a sales and marketing accelerator to support this growing network. Purse Power aims to empower buyers to use their purchasing power to lift women-owned businesses and wants to utilize their network to provide business owners the mentorship and advising they need.

Sustainable Tulsa - The Mine Fellows worked with Sustainable Tulsa to create an environmental impact assessment tool for individuals that can be integrated with their highly successful business Scor3card to track and promote sustainable living in Tulsa.

Hope Research Center - The Mine fellows are worked with OU’s Hope Research Center to package their curriculum and spread the science of hope to a national audience, building hopeful and resilient schools and communities.

Teaching and Leading Initiative of Oklahoma (TLI) (Tulsa) – The Mine team worked with TLI to build an online coaching model to pair new Oklahoma teachers with experienced mentors. Their plan will train 770 new Oklahoma teachers and make TLI 80% self-sustainable by 2024. The team conducted over 20 interviews and surveyed 150+ teachers to build this growth plan.

Veterans Park Project (Tulsa) – The Mine team ideated and developed the “Valued Parks Model” (VPM), a place-making model to increasing community buy-in and improve local parks. The team surveyed over 100 community members, spoke with a dozen non-profits, and engaged local neighborhood associations. Their model will impact 5 parks per year.

Pay for Success / Social Impact Bonds (Oklahoma City) – working with Cross Sector Innovations and Metafund to build a plan to help more Oklahoma nonprofits successfully obtain funding through the pay for success model. This ultimately informed plans for a “Pay for Success Accelerator” which would increase pay for success projects in OK by 200%, funding $120M in projects and serving 10K Oklahomans in just 1 year.

True U (Oklahoma City) – working with True U, a socially conscious organization that has developed a unique trauma-informed yoga and mindfulness curriculum for at-risk youth. The Mine team build a plan to scale True U’s impact to reach 300K children over 5 years through an online train-the-trainer and curriculum delivery model. True U is training OKCPS teachers on their model in February 2020.

Jujuu– working with Sofia Noshay, Mine alum and social entrepreneur, to create the business plan for Jujuu gift boxes, filled with locally sourced “goods that do good.” The team identified a $130 million gift market in Tulsa, developed vendor relationships and created a strategic marketing plan that will earn Jujuu $62K in five years, while providing the common marketing platform for social enterprises and raising awareness of local issues.

Hemphill Create – partnering with Hemphill, LLC. to develop the framework for Tulsa’s first manufacturing incubator, which creates economic and community development in North Tulsa and the Tulsa area. With the team’s marketing plan, rent structure, and targeted partnerships, in three years Hemphill Create can incubate 29 new businesses, profit $187K, generate 419 jobs and generate $2.9 million in tax revenue.

Code Hub – working to assess the existing coding education, skills development and workforce pipeline in Tulsa and address gaps in the continuum. The team partnered with Techlahoma and Learn to Code for this project.

Token Via – working with Family and Children’s Services Women in Recovery program to create a behavior modification system for social service providers that addresses the need for behavior tracking and improved outcomes through a token economy.

Feed the Need – working on a project for the Anne and Henry Zarrow Foundation to facilitate better resource alignment through a centralized communication and data tracking platform for resource providers and seekers

Modus – creating alternative transportation mechanisms for teenagers seeking social services on a project for the Tulsa Campaign and Take Control Initiative. The team designed and piloted a volunteer driver program and transit training in schools.

Kitchen 66– created the business model and developed curriculum for a food entrepreneur incubator for the Lobeck Taylor Family Foundation. Since its launch in 2016, Kitchen 66 has served over 70 food entrepreneurs.

Global Gardens – partnered with local in-school gardening and peace education nonprofit, Global Gardens to expand offerings, reach more children and increase revenue. The team created the plan and piloted GG Me and GG Alliance, which can reach 25K children through an at-home activity kit and reach four more schools across Tulsa through a franchise-training model.

The Bridge – working alongside the Tulsa Area United Way to revitalize their Innovation Grant process to stimulate sustainable social entrepreneurship through a concept test funding model.

One Giant Leap – creating innovative online quizzes for parents to assess their child’s development and promote regular preventive care.
